NOISE AND DUST MONITORING
Sierramin Bauxite project recently procured portable noise and dust monitoring equipment.
Waste Management
A waste dump site has been constructed to dispose waste generatedat the Yenkisa Camp and Mine & Plant site.
Degradable waste is dumped directly into the degradable pit, while the non-degradable waste is segregated at the waste yard and dumped in the non-degradable waste pit(s).
Rehabilitation / Environmental Nursery
Both economic and agroforestry trees were nursed using waste sachet drinking water bags.
Nursed trees were successfully transplanted at the waste yards environs which had been degraded by the community for charcoal burning.

Monthly Awareness Safety Campaign and Safety Training including toolbox talk roll out. Road Safety Signs have been fabricated and Installed.
