A water and solar initiative will be continuously rolled out to villages in our operating region supplying potable water and solar lighting and power

Water wells will be drilled with storage and access made available to local villages. At these sites, solar lighting and charging facilities for mobile phones will be available to village residents

- Sierramin Bauxite will continue implementing an environmental and social management system (ESMS)
- A Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) manager has been appointed to oversee the ESMS
- The CSR manager heads a team who will maintain constant liaison with the local population as well as relevant Governmental departments and ministries
- An internal health and safety (H&S) system has been established to address equipment, vehicle safety, disease prevention and medical care
- Human Resources (HR) management has been implemented to recognize and respect local traditions relating to the definition of family composition
